Game of Thrones is back in action

It seems that the finale of Game Of Thrones won't be the end of the TV franchise by a long shot.

A reported five spin-off series are currently being worked up by various screenwriters and development executives, including three prequels.

And according to HBO CEO Richard Plepler, two of them are so far along that he has seen early drafts of them.

The five proposals does not mean that they will all come to fruition, with only one or two likely to make the pilot stage.

But it's reported that the original creator of the franchise George R R Martin is 'closely involved' with three of the five.
