The L’Oréal Paris Paint by Cheryl makeup collection, which goes on sale in Boots on Wednesday, comprises three Limited Edition Lip kits in three trend-led and universally flattering shades, consisting of edgy ‘Greige’, flirty ‘Peach’ and the ultimate sultry ‘Burgundy’, the hero shade, exclusively designed by Cheryl at the L’Oreal makeup labs.

Speaking to FEMAIL about putting her own stamp on the new range, she said: 'It was incredibly interesting and inspiring to visit the lab. I learnt so much information that I never knew.

Firstly use the liner to draw along the outside the lip line, making sure to not draw over, so just on the very edge.

Then apply the lip paint right up to the liner.

'I was obsessed with a dark lip after wearing it to a Vogue 10 year dinner at the end of last year so I wanted to create something similar but warmer.

L’Oreal Paris are working alongside the Princes Trust on the ‘All Worth It’, confidence-building course that is part of the Fairbridge programme.

This ground-breaking programme will run in the centre of Newcastle once it opens.
